New year has started and it seems like I write here about once a year. That is something that will change. Today I want to highlight an investing blog and portfolio run by Brian Bain called Investor in the Family. Brian is a member at Value Stock Guide and we have interacted many times in the past. He has written a great testimonial for VSG over at his resources page, which I totally appreciate. I will quote the relevant section here
Value Stock Guide – This was the first paid service I ever signed on for and possibly the best. Shailesh Kumar is the man behind VSG and he has proven himself a disciplined value stock investor. Since inception in 2010, the S&P 500 has returned 129% and the VSG portfolio has returned 221%. That’s a really big deal.
Brian is involved in humanitarian work in Sudan as well as running an investment portfolio and site. I support people who are doing great work. Be sure to check out his website.
In the past few months, several blogs and sites have linked back to VSG. I am always excited when my content proves useful to audiences far reaching mine. Here is a partial listing.
I have been considering the best use of this blog site. I would like this to be more active and grow and stick to the topic of entrepreneurship and personal observations. There is always some investing thrown in the mix as this is my primary passion and business. There have been times when I have struggled with the question on whether some of the tech tips of running a web based business that I have learned belong on this site. I have chosen to not post them, but now I figure this site is primarily an extension of me and should be a venue for everything I find interesting.
