I welcome the new year with tremendous optimism. The economy is improving, all the indicators are on the up. True, Europe issue still hangs in the air, but it will be resolved one way or the other. The good news is that the stock markets in the US are now taking their cue from the business fundamentals. It is as if investors are now getting jaded with all the doom and gloom coming out of Europe and all the dire predictions of the US debt.
So I can now Wish All My Readers a Very Very Happy and Profitable New Year!
This is not just a wish, or a hope, but I do it with great confidence and belief. Many of us have suffered through the economic downturn and we can all take heart in the fact that things are only getting better.
If you plan to be active in the stock market in 2012, I have published a series of articles listing my best picks. Take a read, download the spreadsheets, and spend some time researching these stocks. This should give a good starting point for your investment research.
- Best Dividend Stocks 2012
- Best Small Cap Stocks 2012
- Best Mid Cap Stocks 2012
- Best Large Cap Stocks 2012
Along with this I have decided to reward my email subscribers with discounted membership to the VSG Premium. Subscribing to the stock newsletter is free, and frankly, a no brainer. VSG Premium membership, of course, will give you ideas on the very best stocks to buy today.
Publishing these lists have proven to be very popular and it has caused my traffic to almost triple overnight. Great thing is that the visitors are now spending much more time on the site, browsing through and downloading data. My subscriptions are also accelerating and I have received email and phone contacts from fellow investors. So all in all, quite a bit is happening, for good of all. What is euphemistically termed as the bounce rate (number of visitors who leave without looking at another page on the site) has dropped considerably, which means that the audience engagement is on the up swing.
Early 2012 is of course going to be all about keeping and increasing momentum.
At some point, soon, the site will reach a critical mass in terms of audience and members. It is still going to be hard work beyond this point, but it will be less marketing work and more time spent on finding the best investments for my members. I eagerly look forward to reaching this point.
Good Luck and All the Best for 2012!
